Blues Festival
Artists from around the world – a first for the Highlands and rare collection of talent for the UK.
The Highlands of Scotland are set to groove to the rhythm of the blues as the City of Inverness welcomes the inaugural Inverness International Blues Festival to the city’s historic Northern Meeting Park next spring.
The Blues Festival on Saturday 28 March 2026, from 12 noon with live acts until late, will bring together seven legendary blues artists and international talent to create soul-stirring performances in a family-fun atmosphere. The event will now take place under cover in a Big Top tent, ensuring the music plays on whatever the Highland weather brings. From American to European-based blues acts, the festival promises an authentic collection of sound that honours the genre’s deep roots and global influence. We can promise some of the very best blues.
Location
The Inverness International Blues Festival will be held in a Big Top tent at Northern Meeting Park on Saturday 28 th March.
There is no specific on site parking for the festival, except limited disabled parking. There is lots of city centre parking located nearby, and excellent travel links to the City Centre.
Entrance to the festival will be via entry gates located on Ardross Street.
Northern Meeting Park is located in the heart of the City of Inverness, easy walking distance from the High Street with lots of local food and drink options. Ideal for visiting if you wish to pop in and out from the Festival itself - on entry you will be provided with a wristband which will allow you to leave and re-enter the festival site until until 9pm.
Nestled safely within the walls of Northern Meeting Park this site is safely sheltered, an ideal location for an outdoor festival with the benefit of a covered grandstand area. There will be a selection of food options available all day throughout the festival and a bar, so if you want to set up for the day we have you covered! You are also welcome to bring camping chairs with you, these will have to be moved away from the main staging area later in the day but you are free to set-up on site.
